Triplets 2
Triplets 2
Triplets 2, Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains.
The story behind the image:
Bear cubs can climb better than they can walk when they first emerge from their den in the Spring. A tree is a safe place for them to take a nap. In this photograph, I captured 3 cubs sleeping in the tree top. A fourth cub was even further up in the tree. However, the story gets even better. One of the cubs did not like his sleeping spot. In this image you see him scooting down the tree limb. He ends up laying on top of his sibling. You can see the progression of this if you view Triplets 1 and Sibling Pillow 1, 2, and 3.
I hope that you enjoy my bear cub images as much as I enjoyed photographing them.
The goal of my photography is to capture a moment in time, and to share with the viewer the beauty that I observed. My images are single images. I use a program called Lightroom to process my RAW image to prepare them for printing. The image is then printed in the USA on metal or archival quality professional photo paper which is mounted and coated for durability. All images are copyright protected and reproduction in any format is strictly prohibited.
