Three Days Old, Whitetail Fawn, Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains.

The story behind the image:

Three Days Old captures a tiny whitetail fawn hiding in the tall grass in Cades Cove. The doe leaves the fawn hidden in the grass until it is able to walk well enough to keep up with her. They are so well camouflaged you have to practically step on them to see them.

This adorable fawn image is perfect for a nursery or child's room.

The goal of my photography is to capture a moment in time, and to share with the viewer the beauty that I observed. My images are single images. I use a program called Lightroom to process my RAW image to prepare them for printing. The image is then printed in the USA on metal or archival quality professional photo paper which is mounted and coated for durability. All images are copyright protected and reproduction in any format is strictly prohibited.
