Sibling Pillow 2
Sibling Pillow 2
Sibling Pillow 2, Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains.
The story behind the image:
Bear cubs can climb better than they can walk when they first emerge from their den in the Spring. A tree is a safe place for them to take a nap. In this photograph, a cub decided it would be more comfortable to sleep on his sibling.
You can see the progression of the cub sleeping over a limb and then scooting down the tree to lay on his sibling if you view Triplets 1 and 2 and Sibling Pillow 1, 2, and 3.
I hope that you enjoy my bear cub images as much as I enjoyed photographing them.
The goal of my photography is to capture a moment in time, and to share with the viewer the beauty that I observed. My images are single images. I use a program called Lightroom to process my RAW image to prepare them for printing. The image is then printed in the USA on metal or archival quality professional photo paper which is mounted and coated for durability. All images are copyright protected and reproduction in any format is strictly prohibited.
